Optogenetics is a fast growing field and tools need to meet this demand. NeuroTek motorized commutators can be adapted to Doric optical rotary-joins. The mechanical adaptation to our commutators will allow you to record brain cell data while manipulating the brain with optogenetic stimulation. Our adaptor magnetically couples the optic rotary-joint to the commutator, which reduces the wear and tear on this system. The fiber optic is then sent down a small tube in the motorized commutator to your subject.
