12/24 Channel Motorized Commutator for Intan chips and Open Ephys.
NeuroTek is excited to produce a high-quality economical commercial motorized commutator for Intan and OpenEphys products. This commutator series is compact with a robust aluminum design (no 3D printed parts). This product is easily adapted to recording chambers and is used in the therapeutics industry. It utilizes a magnetic hall-effect sensor to directly detect cable twisting. Once twisting is detected, a microcontroller and motor are used to untwist the cables. Sensitivity is superior to indirect clip cable methods and can even be customized for birds or juvenile mice.
